Her professional journey has afforded her extensive exposure in the practice of law, particularly in Family and Property Law, Immigration Law, Cyber Law, Women’s and Children’s/Human/Labo(u)r/Animal Rights, intelectual Property Law including Patents and Copyright , Environment, Medical, Civil and Criminal Cases, along with a wide range of Commercial matters. This diverse expertise allows her to navigate complex legal challenges with clarity, precision, and confidence.

Beyond the courtroom, Sulochana is deeply committed to shaping the future of Nepal’s legal community. As a lecturer at Nepal Law Campus and Nepal Open University, she plays a vital role in mentoring and inspiring the next generation of legal professionals. As a fellow researcher, among many of her research endeavors, her recent groundbreaking research on Climate Change, conducted in collaboration with the United Nations and Colombo University, showcases her influence on both national and international legal thought.
